- what’s approprite to wear
- what’s an appropriate age
- what’s an appropriate drug even..
But everyone seems so judgemental. Too skimpy an outift: a girl is a slut. Someone older than college kids: too old. Not rolling or on drugs: your a weirdo.
We sit here and watch…
You know…I think that girls used to dress up since it was an occasion and stuff, but now with all the new “ravers” I feel like they’re compelled to dress skimpy and as “true ravers” not for the occasion as much but more for…well, slutty purposes. A little part of me dies when I see a 12 year old in a raver outfit. I think everybody should know about the rave scene and appreciate the music, and if you don’t like the music, no problemo! Everybody has their own tastes.
“You rolling?”
“Nah.”
“Looser hahaha.”
I’ve seen that before. Really guys? This is why I go to less and less events and would rather just chill at home or something.
“Aw man dude, that set would have been awesome if I was rolling! Shit was terrible without E man.”
If you need to take drugs to even appreciate the music at a base level, that’s sad. E is supposed to be something of an enhancer, not a ticket for you to be “cool”. To me, PLUR as it was before is dead in the face of the mainstreaming of raves.

I have always contradicted myself when it came to this. I was concerned about the seasoned vets and what they would...
